Anthropic has added 11 partners to Claude for Financial Advisors, expanding the data and software connections available to advisers.

The new partners are Addepar, BlackRock, CAIS, Charles Schwab, Conquest Planning, Envestnet, FactSet, FINNY, Flourish, Franklin Templeton and iCapital. They join existing connections to portfolio platforms, customer relationship management software, custodians and planning tools.

Claude for Financial Advisors is designed to help advisers pull information from multiple systems into a single interface and use task-specific tools for research, meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up. The product includes third-party connectors and workflow skills built around common adviser tasks.

Anthropic is targeting a part of the financial advice market where administrative work can limit time with clients. It cited industry research showing advisers spend only a small share of their time in client meetings, with much of the rest taken up by preparation, planning and documentation across different systems.

New connections

Several of the new integrations focus on investment and portfolio data. Addepar adds portfolio information and analytics across public and private markets, while BlackRock brings data from its Advisor Centre. CAIS adds alternative investment data, and Charles Schwab connects custodial information including balances, positions, transactions and alerts.

The expansion also includes planning and reporting tools. Conquest Planning adds its planning engine, Envestnet brings Tamarac account and household data with MoneyGuide snapshots, and FactSet contributes market data, company fundamentals, funds and ETFs, analyst estimates and news.

Other additions focus on business development and client administration. FINNY connects campaign data and prospecting information, Flourish adds access to client book information and meeting preparation tools, Franklin Templeton contributes fund information and market commentary, and iCapital adds alternative investment holdings data.

Some providers are available through the Claude for Financial Advisors plugin, which groups adviser tools and connectors into a single installation. The bundled plugin works with BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks, with users choosing which services to connect during setup.

Other firms in the wider connector list include Invesco, J.P. Morgan Asset Management through 55ip, Jump, MSCI, Nevis, Orion, SS&C Black Diamond, Vanguard and Wealth.com. Existing general business integrations include Microsoft 365, Salesforce, DocuSign and Box.

Adviser workflow

The software also includes pre-built skills intended to match an adviser's daily workflow. These cover adviser onboarding, pre-meeting preparation, post-meeting notes and follow-up, prospect intake, estate and tax reviews, alternative investment briefs, portfolio rebalance reviews, and compliance and AI policy checks.

These tools gather information from connected systems, summarise it and draft material for an adviser to review. Administrative actions such as customer relationship management updates or draft client communications are staged for approval rather than completed automatically.

Regulated activities remain subject to human review and approval, including investment recommendations, client communications and compliance determinations.

Compliance focus

A compliance-related skill is aimed at firms that need to document oversight of AI use. Anthropic said it can screen client-facing language against the SEC Marketing Rule, flag material that may need additional review, and support recordkeeping and governance processes.

Anthropic is positioning the product for registered investment advisers and recommends enterprise subscriptions because they include audit logs that support recordkeeping. That reflects a broader issue in wealth management, where firms adopting generative AI tools are under pressure to show controls, approvals and documentation around their use.

The service is designed so advisers remain in control of critical tasks. The system prepares briefs, summaries and draft analyses for review rather than making final decisions on advisers' behalf.

The latest partner additions follow the launch of Claude for Financial Advisors and deepen the product's reach across the software stack used by wealth managers. The aim is to reduce the manual work involved in switching between planning systems, custodian data, portfolio tools and client records during an adviser's day.

Anthropic said: "When Claude handles administrative tasks like meeting prep, follow-up drafts and pipeline review, advisors can spend more of their time serving clients."
