Avec, an established project management company, has announced expansion into New Zealand, appointing Sam Collins as General Manager for the region. This decision follows the firm's successful financial year in the Australian market, which facilitated its diversification from project management into new practices.

These newly incorporated sectors include Artificial Intelligence & Data, Automation Business Analysis, Architecture, Business Applications, and Transformations. Having already built a triumphant presence in Australia, Avec is keen to establish a robust foothold in the New Zealand market.

Collins, the newly appointed General Manager, was formerly the Managing Director of Wellington-based recruitment agency People&Co, acquired by Avec's parent company, Talent, in November 2023. His role will be crucial in advancing Avec's interests in New Zealand, utilising his exceptional market knowledge to propel growth and strengthen its consultancy business in the country.

Confirming his position, Collins states: "Our strong focus on growth and delivering into the New Zealand market will only add further value to clients with existing relationships across the wider Talent group.
