espresso Displays launches new portable monitor & stand

Mon, 11th Nov 2024

espresso Displays has launched the espresso Display 15 and Stand+, expanding its offerings with a focus on enhancing ergonomics and productivity for professionals on the move.

The Sydney-based company describes the new espresso Display 15 as a portable monitor constructed from high-grade aluminium, offering what they claim to be exceptional performance at a newly accessible price. Alongside this new monitor, the company introduces Stand+, a magnetic accessory aimed at improving viewing comfort by allowing the display to be raised above a laptop's screen.

Will Scuderi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of espresso Displays, explained, "espresso Display 15 is designed to the highest standards by our in-house engineers and represents our firm commitment to making the best portable monitors on the market at every possible price point." He emphasised the company's objective, stating, "Every espresso Displays product is designed to be a category leader and deliver the best portable monitor experience for professionals that work on the go or travel frequently."

espresso Display 15 connects via a USB-C cable to a laptop or compatible device and attaches magnetically to Stand+, allowing users to adjust the monitor's orientation for optimal ergonomics. Scuderi added, "We believe ergonomics and productivity shouldn't have to be jeopardised by travel, which is why we created Stand+, a breakthrough for achieving more natural viewing angles that we know our customers are seeking in their portable workstations." The Stand+ is compatible with previous 13-inch and 15-inch models from espresso Displays.

The new portable monitor is described as lightweight and slim, featuring a profile of just 5.3mm. The company assures that panels are selected to meet high standards for colour accuracy and brightness, and each unit is colour calibrated on the production line.

Additionally, espresso Displays has introduced "Glide", a new feature within its multi-screen management software, espresso Flow. Glide aligns the user's digital display arrangement to the physical configuration of their screens, potentially improving the ease of setup by eliminating manual adjustments in device settings.

The company is rolling out a special offer with the launch, allowing customers to trial the espresso Display 15 for 60 days risk-free if purchased online, along with a three-year warranty for purchases made before the end of January 2025.

The espresso Display 15 bundled with Stand+ is priced at AUD $499 in Australia and NZD $569 in New Zealand, with Stand+ also available separately. These new products are available for purchase through the espresso Displays website, as well as Amazon and selected retail partners, with expected shipping beginning later in November.
