Extreme Networks to launch AI-driven platform for MSPs

Today

Extreme Networks has announced the forthcoming general availability of its Extreme Platform ONE for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), promising flexibility, simplicity, and cost savings through its unique features.

Extreme Platform ONE is set to support MSPs with a range of functionalities built on AI-driven multi-tenant architecture.

The platform incorporates consumption-based billing and poolable licensing, enabling MSPs to manage customer networks effectively while maintaining cost efficiency.

The MSP initiative by Extreme Networks is designed to assist partners in offering networking, security, and AI solutions that can scale with operational needs, providing differentiation within the industry and expediting revenue generation.

Currently, Extreme Networks collaborates with over 40 MSP partners.

One of the key benefits for MSPs is the centralisation of management tasks within a single workspace, allowing for comprehensive oversight of network health, performance, and security. Extreme Platform ONE integrates Extreme's AI Core, granting MSPs improved automation capabilities driven by interactive and autonomous AI agents. This facilitates increased productivity for networking, security, and business teams by significantly reducing the time required to complete complex tasks.

The introduction of a consumption-based billing model is highlighted as an industry first, aimed at doing away with steep upfront costs and ensuring predictable expenditure for MSPs. In addition, poolable licensing gives MSPs the flexibility to allocate and adjust licenses as needed across multiple devices, locations, or clients, making business scalability more achievable.

Nabil Bukhari, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Extreme Networks, commented on the impact of the platform, stating, "By removing hefty upfront costs, we enable more MSPs to adopt our model, accelerating time to market and revenue."

"Our consumption license grants full control over distribution, activation, and management, while Platform ONE boosts productivity by unifying everything into a single collaborative workspace. This streamlined approach empowers MSPs to drive efficiency and growth with greater speed and simplicity."

Extreme Platform ONE will become generally available for MSPs on 31 March 2025.
