IBM extends partnership with consulting firm LTI

IBM is extending its partnership with global technology consulting and solutions firm Larsen - Toubro Infotech (LTI) to continue assisting businesses with open hybrid cloud adoptions.

As part of the extended partnership, the two companies will open a centre of excellence in India, which will be designed to help customers migrate and modernise core business applications through IBM's open hybrid cloud platform.

The open hybrid cloud platform is built on Red Hat OpenShift and is designed to differentiate and extend on hybrid cloud capabilities for enterprise workloads.

IBM's Hybrid Cloud Ecosystem supports partners in a number of ways. Partners can build on, service or resell IBM technologies and platforms, to help clients manage and modernize workloads with Red Hat OpenShift for any cloud environment, including the IBM public cloud.

The India centre of Excellence will be located in Bengaluru and will offer a range of IBM's artificial intelligence, automation, data, and integration solutions.  LTI staff will help to run creation workshops and IBM solution development for LTI customers.

LTI states that it has developed solutions with IBM capabilities, such as loud Pak for Data and Cloud Pak for Automation. The company also has offerings that integrate with IBM Watson for automation, security, and business process or application updates. Three such solutions are iDigitalization, a solution that automates workflow and digitises enterprise business processes; iMaximize to help modernise the enterprise integration landscape with pre-built accelerators; and Make-the-Shift to help overhaul legacy workloads.
