Infios appoints Sven Adler as Chief Financial Officer

Infios has appointed Sven Adler as Chief Financial Officer, bringing in a senior finance executive with experience at SAP and private equity-backed businesses.
Adler will lead the company's global finance organisation, overseeing financial strategy and performance as Infios expands in international markets. He will also help reshape finance into a closer operating partner to the wider business.
Global expansion
He joins a company that sells software for order, warehouse and transport management. Infios says it works with more than 5,000 customers across 70 countries and is backed through a joint venture between Körber and KKR.
Before joining Infios, Adler held senior leadership roles in technology, services and private equity-backed companies. His background includes more than a decade at SAP, where he served as Chief Financial Officer of the North America services business.
His experience also included oversight of large teams across finance, IT and operations, according to Infios. Most recently, the company said, he helped steer a fast-growing organisation through a period of significant expansion.
The appointment comes as software suppliers to logistics and supply chain operators face pressure to improve margins while continuing to invest in products and international growth. For companies with private equity links or investment backing, finance often plays a central role in balancing expansion plans with cost discipline and operational targets.
Supply chain
Infios operates in supply chain execution, a market for software used to manage the movement of goods and orders through warehouses, transport networks and fulfilment operations. Its products are designed to help customers replace fragmented processes with more coordinated operational decision-making.
Adler also brings an international profile to the role as a dual US and German citizen. Infios said that background would help the company manage cultural, operational and regulatory complexity as it grows with customers in different regions.
Chief Executive Officer Ed Auriemma linked the hire to Infios's wider operating plans.
"Sven is a forward-thinking finance leader who connects strategy with execution," said Ed Auriemma, Chief Executive Officer, Infios. "His ability to drive transformation and act as a true business partner supports our focus on purposeful innovation and positions us to scale with agility."
Finance strategy
Adler was named CFO of the Year in 2021 by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Infios said he is known for building teams and treating finance as a strategic function tied to revenue growth and profitability.
Infios did not disclose financial terms linked to the appointment or say whether the role is newly created or follows a previous finance chief.
The hire adds senior financial leadership at a time when software companies serving industrial and logistics customers are under growing scrutiny over execution, profitability and the pace of product investment. Supply chain technology vendors have sought to show they can deliver both growth and tighter operational control as customers weigh spending on digitisation against broader economic uncertainty.
Adler described the timing of the move as significant for both him and the company.
"I'm excited to join Infios at such a pivotal moment," said Adler. "The company's focus on thinking ahead and delivering meaningful outcomes for customers aligns closely with my approach to building finance organizations that enable growth, adaptability and long-term value."
