Ingram Micro & Jabra help Kiwis put food on the table
Mon, 22nd Jun 2020
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ingram Micro New Zealand and Jabra are offering a helping hand to Kiwi families who may struggle to put food on the table this winter.

To recognise the hard work of New Zealand's own Foodbank.co.nz and Love Soup, Ingram Micro and Jabra will pledge at least $10,000 to the cause.

Foodbank.co.nz is an online directory that includes foodbanks across the country. Love Soup is one food bank collector and distributor that operates from as far north as Paihia and as far south as Tokoroa.

Every Jabra device purchase made through Ingram Micro, the two companies will donate a dollar to Love Soup. The offer applies to all Jabra headsets, conference speakerphones and PanaCast, but excludes other products and accessories.

“A lot of families across New Zealand are struggling in these trying times and Jabra and Ingram Micro NZ have teamed up to support them. We have various audio solutions to suit working from home, remote working and going back to work,” Ingram Micro says.

“Every device sold will help the food banks around New Zealand. So, if you are after a solution, consider Jabra and help Kiwis move forward.

FoodBank NZ states, "During the Level 4 lockdown, food banks across the country experienced unprecedented demand for food assistance. In some cases, requests for food parcels rose over 300% compared to the previous month. This has put a financial strain on the food banks and many are struggling to keep their doors open.

“The wonderful initiative by Ingram Micro NZ will go a long way to easing the burden these food banks are facing and will be greatly appreciated."
