FYI, this story is more than a year old

New Zealand digital transformation and automation specialist Quanton has announced it has achieved the highest level of UiPath technical accreditation with UiPath Services Network (USN) certification.

First to achieve this certification in New Zealand and among the seven in the APAC region, Quanton is equipped with the expertise and advanced delivery skills required to build and scale end-to-end automation for Kiwi companies across New Zealand.

According to Quanton, automation is a fast-growing market as companies continue to grapple with the acute business challenge of the great resignation, exacerbated by the re-opening of borders and an expected exodus of Kiwis heading back overseas.

The UiPath USN program is designed to recognise an elite network of service delivery partners who are accredited with advanced delivery skills, training and certification.

As a UiPath Services Network (USN) partner, Quanton will provide support to other IT providers who may not have the internal automation capacity to implement or support UiPath, but who have customers with automation needs.

Other IT companies will be able to white label Quanton's services to provide a full suite of professional services offerings around automation.

According to the company, only the highest calibre of partners are invited to go through the certification process to become a USN, where they are required to not only prove they have the right level of competency and are ready to deliver professional services at the same quality level as UiPath, but must meet rigorous requirements of customer satisfaction surveys.

A recent global survey commissioned by UiPath found 73% of global office workers believe automation can help attract and retain talent, with 57% believing their workday is eaten up by tasks that could be automated. However, despite employees desire for mundane work to be automated, the complexity of best practice implementation for automation can prove challenging.

Garry Green, MD/founder for Quanton, says the appointment will act as an accelerator to enable customers to get on the automation journey.

He says, "With automation it is crucial you build quality in from the start. Its about designing it right, making it reusable and making it scalable. If you do it right, it sets you up for success, and provides an excellent opportunity for organisations to partner and ensure they gain the highest returns from automation, today and into the future."

CEO from Quanton customer Timber Barron, a global timber exporting company based in Auckland commented on the announcement.

Daniel Ludlum says, "Working with Quanton has been the most rapid, collaborative and structured project we have ever undertaken with an external partner and cannot wait to see where our partnership will lead."

Mark Fioretto, UiPath area vice president for Australia and New Zealand says, "Enterprise automation offers fast time to value and a high return on investment and can be applied in nearly every area of the business.

"As a USN member, Quanton is empowered to enable their customers' automation initiatives to be successful from the start and expand for maximum potential as needs for software automation grow.

"We are delighted to be in this journey alongside Quanton to deliver the best-in-class quality solutions and services and generate desired automation outcomes for our customers."
