ManageEngine rolls out Endpoint Central MSP Cloud for better IT management
Thu, 9th Nov 2023

ManageEngine, Zoho Corporation's enterprise IT management division, has launched its Endpoint Central MSP Cloud. This cloud solution is designed to bring the benefits of enhanced scalability, flexibility, and efficiency to the remote monitoring and management (RMM) of endpoints for managed service providers (MSPs). Its launch also marks the completion of the first stage towards ManageEngine's vision for a unified platform for MSP providers.

With this new offer, MSPs now have a comprehensive solution for remotely monitoring and managing their clients' desktops, servers, laptops, and mobile devices from one central location.

On-premises solutions have oftentimes posed scalability constraints and come saddled with increased upfront costs. These constraints have deterred business growth. Shifting focus to cloud solutions gives MSPs the ambidexterity to scale up resources as required, making sure that IT expenses align with actual needs, thereby promoting better fiscal responsibility.

"This cloud release enables service providers to focus on addressing their clients' IT challenges and growing their businesses without the worry of operational complexities," said Mathivanan Venkatachalam, Vice President of ManageEngine. He went on to say that, "Endpoint Central MSP Cloud delivers RMM capabilities for endpoints, enabling MSPs to automate everyday management and security tasks, allowing them to be available to help clients with their real-time requirements."

The Endpoint Central MSP Cloud offers extensive support for a wide range of devices and operating systems and an integrated approach to remote access and troubleshooting that does not require additional setup or agents.

It boasts extensive third-party patch automation across various device types and environments and strong third-party integrations with a vast API ecosystem to promote interoperability with MSPs' existing technology stacks.

"With Endpoint Central MSP, ManageEngine has enabled us to manage multiple customers and their numerous endpoints with only a small IT team," said Per Bendixen, Senior IT consultant at RelateIT. He expressed readiness to further streamline operations with Endpoint Central MSP Cloud as his company expands.

In the digital-first business environment of present, MSPs often construct their own tech stack consisting of various specialized tools from different vendors to effectively manage and secure their clients' IT infrastructures. This not only escalates the total cost of ownership but also multiplies the complexity, the company states.

"We have built a diverse ecosystem of solutions catering to the varied needs of MSPs, and we plan on bringing all of them to the cloud," said Venkatachalam. He revealed that this release brings ManageEngine to the cusp of delivering a single cloud platform that will allow solutions to work seamlessly, thereby eliminating integration headaches, and empowering MSPs to maximize revenue with least effort and investment.

The ManageEngine MSP suite is a set of solutions exclusively crafted for service providers. The suite encompasses a wide range of capabilities MSPs need to deliver services and streamline their own business operations, including identity and access management, remote monitoring and management, professional service automation and cybersecurity services.
