MintHC expands team with strategic, creative & digital hires
MintHC has expanded its team with several new appointments across strategy, creative and digital functions.
The agency has made eight new hires in recent months, with several new roles created in response to increasing client demand. These appointments cover strategy, content, web development, and client services, as MintHC continues to grow its portfolio and focus on integrated, digital-led marketing solutions.
Strategy and insights
Lee Parkinson joins MintHC as Principal Strategist, bringing substantial experience from his previous position as Strategy Director at Plato Creative and as a member of the Association of Professional Futurists. Parkinson's background is expected to help clients navigate changing markets and emerging technologies through strategy grounded in commercial realities.
Niamh Buchanan has been named Strategy and Insights Lead, another newly created position. Her previous roles include work with brands such as Meridian Energy and running her own wellness booking platform. Buchanan's experience is set to add a customer-centric approach to the agency's brand and business strategy offer.
Creative team additions
The creative arm of MintHC has also seen significant additions. Karl Fountaine has joined as Associate Creative Director, following the internal promotion of Craig Stapley to Creative Director. Fountaine, previously at TimeZoneOne, brings more than thirty years' experience, having led his own agency and delivered work across the tourism sector.
"There's a real sense of momentum and creative energy here. The induction and onboarding process at MintHC has been exceptional too; energising, welcoming, and a true reflection of the culture."
Fountaine described his reasons for joining the team and initial impressions of his new workplace.
Focus on digital capabilities
MintHC has appointed Rodrigo Balcazar to the new position of Senior Digital Marketing Specialist. Balcazar, previously Head of Advertising at Digital Simple, brings significant expertise in digital advertising and campaign management. He commented on the agency's capabilities and his reasons for joining by stating:
"MintHC has some serious digital horsepower. They are a sharp, collaborative team that knows how to drive real impact. It's great to be part of a business that blends creative thinking with technical expertise at this level."
Siobhan Beat has also joined from Digital Simple as Content Marketing Executive. The team is further supported by new web developers: Niklas Mack, formerly with Unyfy, and Jonathan Copsom, previously at TimeZoneOne. Each developer joins in response to growing client needs in digital and web development.
Enhancing client services
Christine Gibbs has taken on the newly created position of Client Director, strengthening the agency's client services capabilities and further supporting client relationships across MintHC's portfolio.
Leadership perspective
MintHC's co-founder and Director of Communications, Alice Moore, commented on the range of appointments and the direction in which the agency is moving:
"The future at MintHC lies in the merging of world-class digital capability with powerhouse creative thinking. These new appointments reflect that ambition by bringing together sharp strategic minds, technical specialists, and bold creative leaders. We're thrilled to welcome them on this journey."
The agency, which has offices in Auckland and Christchurch, is continuing to build its presence across New Zealand, working with brands to provide strategy, creative, and digital services focused on measurable results.
