Netpoleon & Vectra AI expand partnership to boost cyber defence

Wed, 29th Oct 2025

Netpoleon has announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Vectra AI to enhance the delivery of Network Detection and Response solutions for the Australia and New Zealand cybersecurity channel.

The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of Vectra AI technology among enterprise and government customers in the region, supporting Netpoleon's channel partners in providing next-generation protection against evolving cyber threats.

Leadership and commitment

This development follows recent moves by Vectra AI to further its presence in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), including the appointment of Hock Leng as Vice President, APJ, and Mark Verbloot as Senior Director, Security Engineering, APJ. These appointments are intended to strengthen local engagement and technical capabilities.

Vectra AI has also been recognised as a Leader in the inaugural 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Detection and Response (NDR), attaining the highest position for Ability to Execute and the furthest for Completeness of Vision. This recognition is intended to reflect the company's performance in helping organisations detect, investigate, and respond to sophisticated cyber attacks that may bypass traditional security controls.

Strategic focus

"Strategic partnerships are central to our growth and mission at Vectra AI," said Hock Leng, Vice President for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) at Vectra AI. "By aligning with leading technology innovators and trusted solution providers like Netpoleon, we extend the reach of our AI-driven threat detection and response capabilities. Together, we're enabling customers to achieve stronger, more unified security outcomes at scale."

The Vectra AI Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide broad coverage of network, identity, cloud, and SaaS environments. The platform is designed to transform complex attack data into usable insights for users, enabling security teams to manage alert volume, conduct faster analysis, and respond to breaches more effectively.

Market challenges

"Modern attackers are relentless, moving faster and exploiting more surfaces than ever before," Verbloot said. "The combination of Vectra's AI-powered threat detection and Netpoleon's channel expertise gives ANZ partners the ability to deliver enterprise-grade security outcomes with the speed, clarity, and control needed to defend today's hybrid and cloud-driven environments."

Through this partnership, Netpoleon's Australian and New Zealand resellers, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and enterprise clients are expected to improve cyber resilience, unlock new revenue opportunities, and manage operational risk more effectively. The firms state that security teams may see improved efficiency and visibility, enterprises can achieve greater resilience across cloud and hybrid environments, and MSSPs can benefit from scalable service models and increased recurring revenue opportunities. Senior executives are expected to benefit from measurable returns on investment and strengthened security postures.

Channel support

"Vectra AI has set a new standard for network detection and response, and their continued innovation. This is now further validated by Gartner's latest recognition, which makes them an ideal partner for Netpoleon," Lim said. "Together, we're empowering the channel to address the region's most pressing cybersecurity challenges with solutions that are intelligent, adaptive, and built for the hybrid era."

The enhancements to the partnership are targeted at supporting Australian and New Zealand organisations as they navigate a landscape defined by hybrid working models and increasing cloud adoption, while managing the risks posed by more agile and determined cyber attackers.
