Tue, 18th Jun 2024

NICE has been certified by Great Place To Work for 2024, with the recognition based entirely on employee feedback. According to the certification, 84 per cent of NICE employees remarked that it is a great place to work, a significant contrast to the 56 per cent average for typical Australia-based companies.

Great Place To Work, recognised as the global authority on workplace culture, seeks to enhance employee experience and leadership behaviours, which have been associated with elevated revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work, commented on the significance of the certification. She stated, "Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience. By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that NICE stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."

Rod Lester, Managing Director for NICE Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), expressed his satisfaction with the certification. He noted, "NICE is absolutely pumped to achieve recognition in 2024 from Great Place to Work. NICE ANZ is committed to delivering frictionless experiences ANZ-wide, and that starts with our own business and our own people."

Lester highlighted the importance of NICE's internal culture. "Our people and culture are the not-so-secret sauce that makes NICE a Great Place to Work, and our company social fabric is founded on driving exceptional customer outcomes through a shared commitment to open communication, trust, and mutual respect. NICE is committed to cultivating an environment where employees feel valued and connected, which has led to our high internal ratings and a positive work culture that stands out in the industry."

The commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment at NICE ANZ is evident through regular meetings where employees are encouraged to share ideas and receive recognition. Employee contributions are acknowledged through various means, including prizes and shout-outs. Furthermore, the team at NICE ANZ actively engages in community initiatives. Recently, they participated in meal preparation activities for individuals experiencing housing insecurity in Sydney and Melbourne.

Research conducted by Great Place To Work indicates that job seekers are significantly more likely to find a great boss in certified workplaces. Employees at these workplaces are generally more enthusiastic about coming to work and are more likely to feel fairly compensated, share in company profits, and have equitable opportunities for promotion.
