Orgvue unveils Henshaw AI to transform workforce planning

Sat, 6th Dec 2025

Orgvue has launched Henshaw AI, a suite of artificial intelligence tools aimed at automating data analysis for organisational design and workforce planning.

The new offering includes Henshaw Roles and Henshaw Assistant. Both features are now available to customers through an early access programme. The company plans to add further functions in the coming year.

Automating Structure

Henshaw Roles uses artificial intelligence to group similar positions into defined roles, role clusters, and job families. This process establishes job architecture automatically. Traditional methods often require weeks or months of manual data work. Orgvue's approach reduces this workload to minutes. The system surfaces opportunities for organisational change and faster talent strategy.

Henshaw Assistant provides a conversational interface. Users type questions in natural language about their workforce data. The assistant returns organisational insights. Leaders in HR, transformation, and workforce planning can use this feature to make decisions more quickly. It helps teams act on insights rather than spend time preparing and cleaning data.

Industry Adoption

Large enterprises, including Salesforce, are already using Henshaw AI in pilot schemes. Early results show reductions in cost and effort for business restructuring. Henshaw AI is designed to support human decision-making, not replace it. The platform focuses on maintaining a human-centred approach to organisational transformation.

Oliver Shaw, Chief Executive Officer at Orgvue, said:

“We believe that AI will not replace the workforce but transform it. Henshaw is built to support human judgment by automating the time-consuming steps of workforce design, so people can focus on what matters: thoughtful design for human-AI collaboration that improves productivity and profitability.”

Stacey Anderson, Director of Organisational Strategy and Effectiveness at Salesforce, commented on early results with the suite. She said:

“Orgvue's automated role-clustering capability will save a huge amount of time in surfacing opportunities for organisational redesign, workforce planning, and cost reduction. What we've seen so far is truly game changing for design work.”
Ongoing Development

Orgvue developed Henshaw AI using generative artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The platform is named after George Holt Henshaw, known for drafting the first organisational chart. The system is positioned as a tool for enhancing decision-making speed and confidence during business changes.

Data security and compliance remain a priority for Orgvue. The company says it protects customer data using dedicated language models. Orgvue states it follows global data security and regulatory procedures, and commits to building trust with customers and stakeholders.

Orgvue will continue expanding the Henshaw AI suite with new capabilities through 2026.
