PPRO appoints Bronwyn Boyle as new Chief Information Security Officer
Global local payments platform, PPRO, has appointed Bronwyn Boyle as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In her new position, Boyle will lead PPRO's security strategy and take the reins on managing information, cyber and technology security across all the company's product offerings and processes.
Boyle brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role, carrying two decades of experience in technology, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention. Alongside her new position at PPRO, she holds several advisory and non-executive positions for a range of financial services and technology businesses. Prior to joining PPRO, Boyle has had an impressive career trajectory that demonstrates her expertise in the field. Most notably, she served as CISO at fintech Mambu where she guided security transformation and AI enablement initiatives for TSB Bank. She also held the position of Head of Security and Counter-Fraud at the UK's Open Banking implementation entity.
Regarding her new position, Boyle expressed her awareness of the current cyber threats in today's payments landscape, stating, "Cyber attacks can pose existential threats to organisational stability, with potential ripple effects impacting broader financial and customer ecosystems. With this in mind, security has to be top of the agenda, and we are working closely with our partners and customers to collectively strengthen security on a global level."
