Schneider Electric appoints Oliver Hill to lead NZ team

Oliver Hill has been appointed as the New Zealand Country President of Schneider Electric and PDL, commencing his role on 29 October 2024. This announcement was made by Schneider Electric, a company engaged in the digital transformation of energy management and automation.

In his new position, Hill will focus on advancing Schneider Electric's growth in New Zealand by expanding its diverse energy management portfolio. His responsibilities will include promoting market-leading residential and small commercial solutions under the PDL brand and delivering sustainable and innovative solutions across software, services, and energy management. Hill stated, "I am excited to be leading the talented New Zealand team as we strive to introduce new opportunities to a well-established business. My focus will be on deepening relationships with customers and partners while adding to a culture of collaboration and inclusivity."

Hill joins the Pacific Zone Leadership Team and will report directly to Colette Munro, the Pacific Zone President of Schneider Electric. Munro expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I'm thrilled to work alongside Oliver and see him lead the New Zealand team through this next phase. I look forward to seeing what Ollie's technical and channel expertise will bring to our customers based on the opportunity that I've seen here." Since returning to Schneider Electric in February, Munro has been engaging with New Zealand teams and identifying areas for growth.

Hill brings over two decades of experience in outsourced managed services, partner management, and enterprise account management. Before joining Schneider Electric, Hill served as the Managing Director at HP, New Zealand, where he gained experience in leading commercial channels and enterprise teams.

His career history includes building high performance teams and delivering successful outcomes, attributes respected within the industry. Hill is known for his commitment to sustainability and inclusive leadership. "My passion lies in shaping the future of energy management and sustainability in Aotearoa," Hill commented.

In addition to his role with Schneider Electric, Hill actively participates as a board member of TechCollect NZ, further underscoring his commitment to sustainability.
