FYI, this story is more than a year old

NZ-owned IT consultancy Theta has been appointed as a reseller for Data integration and data integrity vendor Talend.

The relationship will increase the availability for New Zealand organisations to become more data-driven based on the combination of Theta's technical expertise in data and analytics with Talend's data fabric platform.

The partnership brings together Theta's complete business intelligence and analytics solutions, through its data and insights consultants, and Talend's data integration and integrity platform, Talend Data Fabric, to deliver solutions and services targeted to meet specific New Zealand organisational needs.

From data warehouse and data strategy, consulting, planning and design to full-scale project implementation, and advanced analytics, Theta and Talend will help many companies realise their competitive advantage and make critical business decisions.

"The rapid changes happening in the data and insights space are immense, and we're keeping up with the pace. Providing opportunities for our customers to discover untapped data potential, become insights-driven and develop good data governance is something we're proud to deliver alongside our technology partners," says Theta analytics practice head Gary Blumgart.

"Partnering with Talend's data integration and integrity platform allows us to enable and support data and insights capabilities in organisations across New Zealand. We want to demonstrate how valuable their data truly is."

Talend Data Fabric is a data integration and integrity platform that simplifies all aspects of working with data for analysis and use, driving critical business outcomes.

The platform includes a suite of applications to ensure enterprise data is complete, clean, compliant and readily available.

Talend expanded its footprint earlier this year by establishing a local presence in New Zealand.

The partnership with Theta is part of this investment strategy to work closely with local partners to help develop more opportunities.

"We're seeing continuous growth in New Zealand this year, and increased demand to support organisations on their data-driven journey,” says Talend ANZ strategic channel manager Paul Sheehan.

"Our relationship with Theta is a vital element of the strategy to evolve and expand. Theta's expertise in Data and Analytics will help us serve our customer base by offering a comprehensive set of solutions and services around the Talend portfolio."

This year, Talend was recognised by Gartner as a Challenger in the 2020 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service, Talend's first appearance in this market evaluation.

According to Gartner, “An iPaaS is typically used for cloud service integration, application integration, data integration, B2B ecosystem integration, and increasingly API publishing, multi-experience support and IoT scenarios.
