Zscaler boosts ANZ presence with high-profile leadership appointments

Zscaler, the global leader in cloud security, signals significant investment in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region with three pivotal leadership appointments to bolster business growth. Eric Swift, the new Area Vice President, ANZ, Ben Graetz, the Vice President of Business Operations, ANZ, and Charlie Cote, the Director of Channel and Alliances, ANZ, have been appointed to drive the company's strategic vision and customer initiatives.

Eric Swift will lead Zscaler's ANZ business, overseeing growth, business strategy, and regional investment. The veteran leader brings with him prominent experience from key leadership positions at companies including ServiceNow, where he was responsible for the company's expansion in the ANZ region, and Microsoft, leading enterprise and commercial sales. "With over two decades of experience, Swift is known for his strategic vision and exceptional leadership skills that will support Zscaler's customers in implementing security measures to address evolving security threats," the company said in a statement

Ben Graetz, who also joins Zscaler from ServiceNow, has been appointed to a newly created role to align and drive all customer initiatives in ANZ. He has twenty years of experience in leadership, sales, strategy, product management, and operational functions in the technology sector. Meanwhile, Charlie Cote will head Zscaler's ANZ Channel and Alliances sector. He brings over 22 years of experience in the networking and security industry and is recognised for driving growth and delivering impactful results in channel sales and partnerships.

Zscaler's senior executive team has warmly welcomed these new additions. Andreas Hartl, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan at Zscaler, stated, "We're thrilled to welcome Eric, Ben, and Charlie to Zscaler to strengthen our team and capabilities in ANZ. We have a great opportunity in the region to build the Zero Trust momentum and empower our customers to combat the evolving threat landscape we've been experiencing in the past few years."
