Binance offers early access to Scroll for NZ users
Binance has announced the listing of Scroll (SCR) on Binance Launchpool, offering New Zealand users early trading access through its Pre-Market Spot Trading.
New Zealand users on Binance will now have the opportunity to earn new tokens by locking existing assets on Binance Launchpool. This comes with the added benefit of exclusive early access to trade Scroll through the Pre-Market Spot Trading platform. This provides a new method for users to engage with crypto projects ahead of their official spot listing.
Scroll, described as a Bytecode-level compatible zkEVM Rollup, marks the latest addition on Binance Launchpool and is the first available through Pre-Market Spot Trading in New Zealand. This addition supports Binance's ongoing efforts to offer a secure and adaptable approach for participants in new cryptocurrency projects.
Recently, Binance introduced its Pre-Market Spot Trading in September 2024, distinguishing itself as the sole crypto exchange that allows users to manage and trade tokens from selected Launchpool projects prior to their official listing on the Spot market. This exclusive feature provides users the chance to engage with the tokens in a pre-market period, expanding their opportunities to interact with the asset.
Binance Launchpool offers a platform for users to back emerging cryptocurrency projects while earning rewards. Users contribute through locking cryptocurrencies—such as BNB or stablecoins—into a secure liquidity pool, supporting early-stage projects and receiving new tokens based on their contributions.
The platform implements a rigorous vetting process for each project listed on Binance Launchpool, ensuring Kiwi users can confidently participate in the evolving crypto market. This is enhanced by Binance's advisory support intended to facilitate user engagement and security.
James Quinn-Kumar, Director of Community Engagement for Binance Australia and New Zealand, stated, "Binance Launchpool and Pre-Market Spot Trading provide Kiwi traders with unmatched access to the newest innovations in the cryptocurrency world. It offers a secure, flexible, and rewarding way for users to get involved in early-stage projects, helping them grow their portfolios in a low-risk environment."
Reflecting on global inclusion, Quinn-Kumar added, "While New Zealand may feel geographically distant from the rest of the world, we're committed to ensuring that Kiwi traders have access to the same safe, cutting-edge products and opportunities as other global markets. We're excited to continue empowering New Zealand's Web3 community and support users on their crypto journey with the tools they need to engage with new digital assets."
As part of its strategy to support cryptocurrency adoption, Binance continues to provide New Zealand users access to explore new digital assets, with the listing of Scroll being a recent example of these efforts.
