D2L unveils add-on solution to enhance corporate learning
Global learning technology firm D2L has announced the forthcoming availability of D2L Link, an advanced add-on solution designed to assist organisations in integrating their corporate learning systems.
The new service aims to automate manual tasks and enhance data accuracy, addressing a significant need at a time when many organisations face difficulties integrating data across various systems.
D2L Link, implemented by D2L's Professional Services team, is set to eliminate the necessity for manual data entry, reduce reliance on custom middleware, and potentially deny the need for costly outsourcing. Tony Maguire, Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand at D2L, highlighted that the data integration capabilities of D2L Link could help organisations fully utilise their data assets.
"The feedback I am receiving from customers who are using D2L Brightspace is that the solution is positively transforming how they're able to work," said Mr Maguire. "By incorporating the D2L Link add-on, this can unlock potential new data within organisations, aiding in better decision-making, improved efficiency, and enhanced collaboration across all levels."
The D2L Professional Services team offers ongoing support to ease system integration and process automation. This support includes the quick and easy setup of ready-to-use system integrations, enabling organisations to operationalise their systems within hours, significantly reducing implementation times.
Additionally, D2L Link facilitates automated data transfers and tasks, lessening the internal teams' workload, mitigating manual task burdens, and minimising human error risks. It also streamlines D2L Brightspace administrative workflows by automating regular tasks such as creating new faculty sandbox courses or auto-enrolling users into courses based on specific attributes or roles.
The service promises comprehensive data insights by providing consistent and reliable data access from systems connected to Brightspace, thereby aiding in building a holistic understanding of the connected learning systems.
Al Patel, Senior Vice President of Professional Services and Support at D2L, noted, "When data is scattered throughout your tech stack, getting reliable insights can be nearly impossible."
"That's why we're leveraging our 25 years of experience and more than 300 in-house multi-disciplinary educators, D2L Brightspace experts, and industry professionals to help our customers get the most out of D2L Link."
D2L Link will now be available to customers in Australia and New Zealand after its initial launch in North America in March, representing a significant step forward in D2L's mission to facilitate better learning outcomes through advanced technology.
